Curtis Urbina, a 25-year music industry veteran, is one of the industry’s most dynamic and informative label entrepreneurs and speakers. He has worked with all of today’s major entertainment companies including EMI, Universal, BMG/Sony and Warner Music. Curtis has worked with Kid Rock, Roger Daltry, Ron Wood, Charlie Watts, Deborah Gibson, Bobby Womack, Shannon, Roger Sanchez, Blaze and many more. He has participated in conferences and lectures around the world including MIDEM, Billboard Dance Summit, Amsterdam Dance Event, Winter Music Conference, and Global Music Summit. He has been quoted in periodicals such as Billboard Magazine, Crain’s New York Business, NY Daily News and many more.

He was instrumental in several successful club labels which he owned or co-owned such Emergency Records and Quark Records, which created the first opportunities for many of today’s leading DJ/ producers and remixers. Curtis is currently Adjunct Professor at New York University where he teaches courses on the Music Industry, the business of Music Publishing, careers in the Music Business, and developing a Record Label.
